Sunny Farms Landfill is commited to safely, responsibly, and carefully managing the disposal of waste at our Fostoria, Ohio site. Sunny Farms Landfill is a fully lined, Subtitle D, Municipal Solid Waste landfill, and is the only direct Class 1 railroad-served landfill in Ohio. Waste is received for disposal from local generators as well as by rail from WCA owned Transfer Stations and third party shippers. Sunny Farms Landfill has the only fully enclosed construction and demolition debris unloading building in the state of Ohio.

Sunny Farms Landfill utilizes the latest advances in landfill technology to protect local ecosystems and ensure long-term integrity. Our environmentally secure, lined landfill, is covered on a daily basis in conformance with regulatory and environmental requirements.

Rail Logistics

Sunny Farms Landfill receives waste from local haulers as well as by rail via WCA's Champion City Recovery center in Brockton, MA. and third-party transfer stations. WCA is a full service solid waste rail logistics and disposal provider. Rail logistics is one of our core competencies. Our dedicated logistics staff monitors scheduling and rail car movements to ensure maximum efficiencies.

Through our fleet of high capacity gondola rail cars WCA is uniquely able to provide customers turnkey solutions for their waste disposal needs.
